Bodyshaping

A good body doesn’t come in a pill, or powder, or power bar. It comes from persistence and dedication. But.....ANYONE has the ability to drastically change their body to the shape they dream about having. But while everyone can have the desire, it also takes knowledge and motivation to direct that energy to achieve results. Knowledge comes from study and experience and for changing the shape of your body, personal trainers can provide the motivation, direction, and knowledge you need to get fast results.

Curves on your body come from two sources; fat or muscle. Or a combination of both. More fat than muscle jiggles. More muscle than fat give a hard muscular look. Most women want firmness without a "ripped" look. That means some muscle with just enough fat to soften the look. Most men want more muscle with very little fat to give that fit and muscular appearance. However, both can use weight training and food manipulation to achieve the look that they desire. They just do it differently.

So what shape do you want? Smaller hips? Then widen the shoulders and back. A wider upper body will give the illusion of a narrower lower body. More shapely legs? Work on the calves, hamstrings, and outer quadriceps. For the men, do you want a more powerful look? Work on the chest and shoulders. However, neglecting the upper back will tend to make the shoulders round over.
